The Decision
Choosing a university major based on a name or a short description — without real experience — is a gamble. “Computer Science” is not one specialisation; it is a family of very different fields. Entering without exposure risks discovering the wrong path after an entire wasted year.
The Compass Program solves this by giving students:
- Hands-on experience in 4 CS specialisations — built with their own hands

The Four Specialisation Workshops
1 · Artificial Intelligence (AI) Understand what happens inside everyday AI models and build your first AI programme yourself.
2 · Data Science & Analytics Take messy raw data and extract answers and decisions using the tools of a professional analyst.
3 · Software Engineering Understand how applications are built — from idea to release — and the roles within a development team.
4 · Cybersecurity Understand the attacker’s and defender’s mindset and build a defence hands-on.
